We are currently looking for a **Claims Adjudicator** to join our team. This role has a **hybrid work arrangement**, required to work on site in our **Calgary office** with flexibility to work from home a few days a week.

The **Claims Adjudicator** is responsible for adjudicating (decision about a claim submission) health and dental claims. They also are responsible for assisting clients by answering their telephone inquiries, all while achieving continued success in meeting our standard for service level agreements (SLA’s) and provide excellent customer service.

**Outcomes**:

- To learn standard processing rules for group benefits health and dental claims
- To meet or exceed 250 lines or processing one hundred and ten (110) claims per day
- Work effectively within a team while setting personal productivity goals
- Mastering the Claim Secure program within the first three (3) months

**Responsibilities**:

- Adjudicate basic and complex health and dental claims
- Data entry of adjudicated basic and complex health and dental claims
- Answer phone calls and assist members and providers with claim/coverage inquiries
- Assist colleagues and members with claim inquiries
- Filing correspondence and claims

**Competencies Specific for This Role**:

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service with outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Above average organizational and planning skills
- Able to handle a large, repetitive workload
- Able to audit claims (self and team members)

**Education and Experience**:

- Post-secondary completion or near completion is an asset
- Strong data-entry skills with number-pad familiarity
- Experience in the group benefits industry would be considered an asset
- Bilingual (French) an asset. Must have a strong command of the English language, both oral and written Microsoft office
