**Schedule**: Monday to Friday

**Location**:Fraserwood & #6 Road Facilities

Reporting to the Vice President, the Advisor, People & Culture, will provide HR support to the business in areas such as Recruitment, Onboarding & Training, Employee Relations, Communications, Performance Management, and more. **Summ Responsibilities**:

- Work as part of the People & Culture team to provide HR guidance to all levels of staff, including interpreting company policies, provincial and federal legislation and providing guidance regarding HR initiatives.
- Consult with and advise Managers/Supervisors on employee issues - performance, absenteeism, conflict resolution and company policy interpretation
- Act as an employee advocate and address their various needs and concerns with empathy and humility
- Liaise with appropriate managers to coordinate the offboarding process for departing employees, conduct exit interviews and analyze results
- Serve as a member of various committees (OHS, Social Committee, etc.) with responsibility for developing a team culture that nurtures our values
- Lead various core annual programs including but not limited to: Benefits Open Enrollment, Wellness Events, Training & Development, Compensation Planning, Permanent & Temporary Recruitment, Performance Review/Talent Assessment, etc.
- Facilitate communication across the organization providing guidance to employees and leaders on problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Provide consistent leadership and guidance to team members to increase their effectiveness and establish healthy and constructive working relationships
- Ensure plant follows local, provincial and federal laws as well as established HR processes and procedures.
- Complete other special projects, duties, and assignments, as assigned.

**Summ Requirements**:

- 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role within a manufacturing, light industrial or similar setting.
- Post secondary education in Human Resources or related field, and/or CPHR Certification or working towards it
- Proven ability to establish priorities and organize work accordingly.
- Versatile inter-personal skills and collaborative solutions-oriented approach
- Experience in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (additional languages are an asset).

This full-time opportunity works on-site at both of our Richmond locations and offers a competitive salary range (based on experience) between $52,000 - $62,000 in addition to an attractive benefits package including Company paid Extended Health & Dental, RRSP Matching, Health Spending Account and more.
