**Position Overview**

Reports to the Principal Investigator.

The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate all aspects of the Canadian Open Parkinson Network (C-OPN).

**Position Description**

**Summary of Key Responsibilities** (job functions include but are not limited to):

- In collaboration with the executive committee of the C-OPN, develop a chart for C-OPN and Standard Operating Procedured (SOPs)
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Canadian Open Parkinson Network including ten sites across Canada
- Ensure ongoing and continued support for all research activities abiding by C-OPN Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Manage access to C-OPN digital platforms (REDCap and LORIS) and maintain it in accordance with privacy/ethics guidelines
- Organize and lead key stakeholder meetings including monthly coordinator meeting, bi-monthly clinical investigators meeting, and quarterly scientific and funders meetings
- Manage C-OPN financial accounts and legal contracts
- Assist C-OPN developers to maintain and optimize digital platform
- Compile scientific and financial reporting to funders
- Ensure ongoing compliance with ethic board regulations and required documents, e.g., amendments for ethics materials
- Participate in knowledge transfer activities including social media and maintaining C-OPN website

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Masters or PhD in neuroscience, psychology or medical-related field including nursing
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in health research required
- Past experience as a clinical research associate, lab manager or research coordinator is an asset
- Experience with other multi-centric initiatives is a plus
- Tri-Council 2 (TCPS2) and Canadian Good Clinical Practices (GCP) certifications
- Past experience working with Movement Disorders and/or elderly populations
- Professional proficiency in both, French and English is a plus
- Excellent people skills, and collaborative personality, to interact with researchers, technicians, clinicians, nurses, participants including patients
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet skills, and statistical software such as SPSS
- Experience working with ethics boards
- Experience in neuropsychological and/or behavioral testing or knowledge of tests is a plus
- Experience with databasing systems such as REDCap or LORIS is an asset
- Ability to perform detailed meeting agendas, minutes, presentations, and reports
