Childhood Educator

KAFRC offers a 4/10 schedule where our Educators work 4 days and are off for one day a week. This allows for extra long weekends and flexibility with booking appointments. It also offers the possibility of picking up extra hours if desired. We strive for a collaborative and supportive work environment and provide additional training.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Negative criminal records check completed within the past 6 months
- Current First Aid and CPR (preferred but not required. Must be completed within three months of position).
**Experience, Knowledge and Skills**:
- Observe, supervise, interact with and meet the needs of all children
- Maintain open communication with Director / Supervisor, co-workers, and parents
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings
- Works in cooperation/collaboration with regular program staff, taking their lead in assigned duties/tasks, etc.
- Adhere to any and all program policies, procedures, and legislative requirements as set out by the licensed child care program where they are employed.
- Reports directly to Director / Supervisor

Pay: $17.50-$22.00 per hour
