Experienced Dog Groomer

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Perform grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming options.
- Handle pets safely and compassionately during the grooming process, ensuring their comfort at all times.
- Assist with heavy lifting of larger pets as needed during grooming sessions.
- Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance service quality.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Pet Groomer (provide photos and do a demo).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their pets.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling larger animals safely.
- Knowledge of various dog breeds and their specific grooming needs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards both pets and clients.
- Certification in pet grooming
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care and well-being.

Commission based: Sub

40% we supply equipment and shampoos, including (sharpening of blades and scissors)

50% you supply your own equipment and shampoos

+100% of tips on your grooms

Hours:
Monday
- Fridays start time 8am

Must be available 1-2 evenings a week, start time 3/4pm

must be available for 1 weekend shift

Sat or Sunday

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $100.00-$300.00 per day

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
