**Job Description**:
Role and responsibilities
- Design automated systems. In particular on the electrical design of the control panel and on the safety of the machines.
- Install, fabricate or modify electrical installations such as control panels, sensors, drives, etc.
- Program programmable logic controllers, operator interfaces and industrial robots in order to integrate new functionalities or optimize existing equipment.
- Support and improve automated and robotic equipment and diagnose problems on existing production systems.
- Support the automation engineer in the implementation of new technologies such as robots, vision systems, industrial process monitoring and Industry 4.0.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- AEC, DEC OR BAC in automation or other relevant training
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience
- Possessing good knowledge in the programming of programmable logic controllers, operator interfaces and industrial robots.
- Programming of Motoman robots in a welding environment is an asset.
- Knowledge of electrical plan design software is an asset.
- Advanced spoken and written bilingualism (French - English) - an asset.
