**Job Purpose**

The purpose of the Lettershop Associate is to perform hand-assembly or manual inserting activities of packages not suitable for high-speed inserting or automated inserting equipment. It is to ensure we meet company quality standards, accuracy, productivity and customer service objectives.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Review and fully execute job instructions as per workorder details.
- Assemble (collate and insert) and seal packages for mailing or distribution, manually or by hand, into envelopes or boxes.
- Check quality of the materials prior to use and shipment and relay any quality issues to the Production Supervisor.
- Gather all required package components from warehouse (envelopes, inserts, etc.).
- Account for all inserted product and reconcile against work order details and track in companies system.
- Fill out quality control sheets accurately and immediately after job completion.
- Set up and operate desktop-sized inserting (such as the Pitney Bowes Relay 8000) or Bindery equipment (saddle stitcher) as required or instructed by the Production Supervisor.
- Clean work areas, clear any hazards and contribute to the general upkeep of the facilities.
- Assist in other production related duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or Manager of Production Operations.

**Other Abilities Required**
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent hands on experience required.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read and write English proficiently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 20-30% of your shift.
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment due to surrounding production equipment.
- Attention to detail.
