**TITLE: Commerce Instructor (Sessional)**
**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
- **COMM 100 - Introduction to Business**: This course provides an understanding of different business types, structures, functions and activities within the Canadian context, and an understanding of the forces that impact businesses and their performance.
- **COMM 280 - Small Business and Entrepreneurship**: This course provides an introduction to the mechanics and choices associated with establishing and running a small business. It focuses particularly on an examination of the implications of growing the business, both for the enterprise itself and for the entrepreneur.
- **COMM 292 - Management and Organizational Behaviour**: Behaviour in organizations as it affects people as individuals, their relationships with others, their performance in groups, and their effectiveness at work.
**EMPLOYMENT TYPE**: Part-time, contract
**COURSE RATE RANGE**: $6,800 - $7,100
**TERM**:Various terms during the academic year

**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Business, or equivalent
- 2 years teaching equivalent courses at a post-secondary institution
- Able to demonstrate success in innovative or student-centered teaching techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of course learning outcomes is an asset
- Proficient with educational technology including databases and online learning environments
- Excellent instructional capability
- Able to maintain professionalism and cordiality when working with others
- Strong Proficiency in English
