In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson Civil, working in a temporary, full-time position of **Dozer Operator**, reporting to the Superintendent. These positions require experienced operators to meet company production objectives and work within specified tolerances. Your base location will be **Kamloops, BC**. and may require some travel throughout our great province.

**WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE**
- Must prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job
- Ability to efficiently operate heavy equipment
- Ability to read and understand survey stakes is considered an asset
- Operate heavy equipment in a mining environment in a safe and appropriate manner
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
- Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance
- Complete daily hazard assessments, maintenance checklists, etc.
- Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections, and adhere to safety policies

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Minimum three (3) years of experience operating an excavator, dozer, grader is required for these positions
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in road construction or mining preferred
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
- Basic knowledge of road construction materials, road construction processes and industry requirements is an asset
- Ground Disturbance preferred
