Allied Universal is seeking** Professional Security Guards** in Canada**.**
- We are looking to hire one experienced security guard
- Shift - Part Time, Saturday & Sunday from 1900-0700
- Location-Downtown Toronto
- Pay Rate-Probation $18. 87 per hour; after probation $19.25 per hour
- One year guard experience is a must
- Law Enforcement or Military Experience is an asset

**Job duties include but are not limited to**:

- Access control duties - Ensuring Contractors and Site Staff are signing in and out
- Patrols
- Provide contractor escorts - when required
- Answer and respond to all security calls
- Strictly adhere to Site Post Orders
- Observe and report all signs of suspicious or criminal activity on/ near site.
- Observe and report all suspicious packages on site.
- Document Daily Activity Reports.
- Document Incident Reports.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background check
- Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Able to:

- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 20 kilograms
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
