Dog Groomer/daycare Attendant

We are a new dog care and boarding business located in New Westminster. We want to focus on growth and building a fun and exciting workplace that can help us all grow together. This position will start out primarily as a Daycare attendant as we establish our grooming service. We have a large base of clients already so we have high hopes for starting our grooming service. Eventually this position will become a full time groomer.
- Must have Dog Grooming Experience, Please bring a portfolio of dogs you have groomed
- Have a love for Dogs
- Wants to learn upon existing knowledge of canine behaviors
- Quick thinking in critical situations will be needed
- Kind, calm, and reliable
- Leadership qualities and a self-starter
- Enjoys a high-energy environment
- Can work solo and on a team
- Isn't afraid of getting their hands dirty and building up a sweat
- Has and/or is willing to get Pet First aid certified (we cover costs)
About the work environment:
- Furry Friends will be loud at times
- Our clients come in every size and breed
- The space has rubber flooring so is easy on the feet
- So many fun furry friends from puppies to older friends
- New Grooming service so may be slow to start so will be a dual position for now
Referral Bonus
- Any Pets you successfully refer will result in a 25$ bonus
The hours to begin with may vary. Our vision for The Grooming/Daycare Position will be Tuesday to Saturday 8 hr shifts from 9am - 5:30pm. For training we may use other days so must be flexible during the week as we are open 6:30am - 7pm. Overtime will not be available unless the situation requires it.
