**Role Description**

Bookkeeper role is responsible for handling both clerical and administrative tasks related to financial records business needs. Their duties encompass a variety of responsibilities:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Data Entry and Bookkeeping**:

- performing data entry tasks, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.
- **Tracking Invoices and Expenses**:

- keeping track of invoices, expenses, and financial documentation.
- **Reconciling Bank Statements**:

- Comparing bank statements with the general ledger to identify any discrepancies.
- **Updating and Maintaining Accounting Databases**:

- Managing and organizing financial records in databases and Quickbooks online.
- **Filing Financial Records**:

- Organizing and maintaining physical and digital financial records is part of their role.
- Administrative tasks:

- Completing other administrative tasks to support the business objective.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- **Accounting Experience**:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience
- **Quickbooks Experience**:

- Minimum 2 Yearsexperience
- **Basic Accounting Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with fundamental accounting procedures.
- **Data Accuracy and Attention to Detail**:

- must be meticulous in their work.
- **Proficiency in MS Office and Spreadsheets**:

- Competency in tools like Microsoft Excel and other office software.
- **Strong communication Skills**:

- Fluent in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- **Organization Skills**:

- Managing paperwork efficiently.
- **Data Entry and Word Processing Skills**:

- Proficiency in entering data and using word processing software.

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 2 years (required)
- QuickBooks: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In person
