**Regency Retirement Resorts** is looking for a part-time **Accounting Technician **to join our team at the Kelowna Regional Office We are proud to be a part of **Cogir Real Estate**. Cogir Real Estate manages more than 210 properties located in Quebec, Ontario, Nova Scotia, the United States and recently in British Columbia. Cogir Real Estate is continually looking to expand their presence in the BC/Western Canada area.

**About You**:
The person we are looking for has accounting experience, strong attention to detail, a customer-service focus and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment. This position is part-time, up to 22.5 hours/week (weekdays) and is onsite at our Regional Office in Kelowna.

**Position Overview**:
This position is responsible for assisting in the monthly accounting as well as the preparation of monthly audit files for the Regency group of properties.
- Posting payroll journal entries & preparing payroll report package
- Perform required month end reconciliations including but not limited to bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, capital asset schedules, accrued liabilities, intercompany reconciliations
- Prepare monthly internal audit files for signatures
- Respond to internal auditor requests for information
- Prep all month end files
- Review CAPEX packages, post required journal entries & prepare necessary reports
- Participate in assigned special projects
- Establish and maintain good business relationships with various property managers
- Perform other daily and weekly financial and reporting requirements as needed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
