**Job Brief**:
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to track and evaluate day-to-day accounting activities and payroll management. Responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our financial management team of HQ in South Korea. This is hands on position with opportunity to grow into the Accounting Manager. **Responsibilities**:
Assess budgets, process expenses, and communicate with CEO to stay abreast of spending, budgeting, reports, and evaluation.
Maintain an accurate and complete trail of supporting documentation for all activities.
Understand on the content and accuracy of financial reporting.
Ensure that all month-end financial duties and resulting financial reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Record all business transactions, reconcile accounts, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and financial statements.
Maintain year-end working papers and spreadsheets, and assist with preparation for any internal or external audits or independent reviews being conducted
Collect, interpret, and report on financial data.
Prepare financial statements and bank reconciliations.
Process and enter invoices for payment, match invoices with purchase orders, and check for accuracy.
Prepare monthly submissions for accounting and monthly remittances.
Prepare, verify and process all employee payroll related payments, including regular pay, benefit payments, and special payments such as bonuses and vacation pay
Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
**Job Requirements**:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
Accounting designation or working towards completing an accounting designation: CPA Ontario is an asset
3+ years of experience in accounting and financial analysis
Experience with ERP preferred, and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent organizational skills combined with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and meet tight deadlines
Excellent analytical, planning, interpersonal and communication skills
Korean - English Bilingual preferred
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
