**Position: Security Guard**

**Status**: Full Time Permanent

**Location**: North York

**Pay Rate**:$20.29/hr

**Job Duties**:

- Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
- Patrols on foot and dispatch duties.
- Issuing parking tags to illegally parked vehicles and arranging to have cars towed.
- Investigate parking complaints from client or its employees.
- Prepare and process the appropriate paperwork in response to various requests and reports submitted by members of the community or Parking Enforcement Officers
- Escort contractors and visitors to their destination when needed.
- Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.

**Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following prior to an interview**:

- Valid Ontario Security Licence
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- G Class Drivers Licence required
- Police Foundations Diploma is considered an asset but not required.
- 2 years of security experience in a tactical or high profile security role.
- Parking enforcement experience is an asset.
- Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
