Home Care Worker

**AGTA Home Health Care Simcoe County** is dedicated to providing the highest quality, 24-hour Home Health care in Ontario. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to assist our clients who require assistance in their homes. **For this position we require a Home Care Worker who is willing to work in Cookstown, ON., and if possible surrounding areas. This is a casual part-time position, hours will be provided as they become available.**

**Home Care Workers responsibilities and duties**:

- Provide assistance with activities of daily living **(ADL's) **such as **grooming**, **toileting assistance**, **companionship**, and **completing other tasks as required**:

- **Documenting Changes in clients conditions** and **updating Communication Books** as required
- **Meal Preparation**:

- **Palliative Care**:

- **Housekeeping Duties **in clients households such as housekeeping, washing dishes, and laundry

**Qualifications**:

- **Home Care Experience**:

- **Vulnerable Sector Check **completed/or in process of completing
- **CPR/AED/First Aid Level C or higher**:

- **Drivers License and reliable vehicle **(considered an asset)

Part-time hours: 9 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
