We are seeking qualified individuals for the role of IT Desktop Analyst. Please note that this is not a fly-in, fly-out operation and will be based in Labrador West, NL. This position on a Monday to Friday basis, working 8-hr shifts.

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the IT Manager, IT Desktop Analyst will be responsible for the following:

- Knowledge in Microsoft Suite, Programming in MS Access would be an asset.
- Help troubleshoot and deploy radio equipment when required
- Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and support computer workstations, laptops, printers, mobile devices, phones and other computer and telecommunications equipment.
- Configure & Install workstations, connect and set up other hardware, load software remotely
- Create alternative methods of completing tasks, correcting user errors and system inconsistencies to improve the desktop team function.
- Participate in hardware and software reviews and recommend purchases.
- Maintain inventory of installed software, manage software licensing, and create policies and procedures for upgrades.
- Work with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensure that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule.
- Analyze and make recommendations for hardware and software standardization.
- Document procedures, standards, best practices configurations, settings, installation sequences and back-out instructions.
- Troubleshoot LTE Devices in a Heavy Equipment Environment
- Installation / Troubleshoot wireless Camera network would be an asset
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Strong foundation in Information Technology Infrastructure Support.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Superb trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.

**Education & Experience**:
Computer Systems & Networking Program
