Hydrovac Operator

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain hydrovac equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform hydro excavation tasks, including digging, trenching, and exposing utilities
- Safely operate the boom and vacuum system to remove debris and materials
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and report any equipment issues or maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work tasks

**Experience**:

- Previous experience operating hydrovac equipment is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment operation is required
- Ability to read and interpret maps, drawings, and job specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

**Experience**:

- DZ with HydroVac: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- DZ Licence with Minimum 3 years experience (required)
