**Knowledge, skills and abilities**:

- Appropriate communication skills including the ability to express thoughts and ideas clearly, converse with a wide range of people, and the aptitude to interact with contractors, staff, and the public with courtesy, diplomacy and tact;
- valid Class 5 Drivers Licence with no restrictions;
- the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and manage overlapping priorities;
- appropriate interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships;
- the ability to complete WHMIS training; and
- a satisfactory police information check.

This is a Union position under the Collective Agreement between Cultus Lake Park and CUPE Local 458. The incumbent will normally work 37.5 hours per week with a 7.5-hour day scheduled between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm summer hours (May 1st to September 15th) then 6:00 am and 4:00 pm winter hours (September 16th to April 30th). Shifts may include weekends and statutory holidays and overtime may be required from time to time.

Performance of duties requires travel and working outside in all kinds of climactic conditions. The incumbent is required to follow all safety practices and procedures in the performance of duties.
