Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a **Production Supervisor, First shift **at our **Woodbridge** manufacturing plant.

Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence.

**Key Job Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the completion of all production activities in the assigned area of responsibility.
- Collaborate with department manager to ensure timely achievement of the goals set for each year.
- Train, guide and coach hourly workers and lead-person.
- Monitor and evaluate performance of all direct reports.
- Adhere to and enforce health and safety rules and protocols.
- Enforce quality program standards and records keeping requirements.
- Review production schedules and coordinates manufacturing activities.
- Ensure productivity levels and all operational objectives are met.
- Maintain production reports

**Skills and Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- 3 - 5 years manufacturing or production supervisory experience.
- Leadership abilities to coach employees and boost morale.
- Employee training skills and experience.
- A strong working knowledge of safety regulations related to manufacturing business.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work with a team and independently in a time-sensitive environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- SAP experience is an asset.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Lean manufacturing: 2 years (required)
- SAP/ERP: 1 year (preferred)
- people management: 2 years (required)
