**DRAG CREW**

We are looking for car or motorsport enthusiasts to be part of the Rad Torque Raceway Team. Being a part of the drag crew puts you right in the middle of all the racing action. You will take part in facilitating the race; providing a safe environment and assist in giving the competitor a great racing experience.

Almost all drag crew positions can be taught and learned within a few weeks. You will be expected to grow and evolve as the industry changes to better yourself and adapt. This is a fun industry to be part of, but it is still a job and you will be expected to perform. A strong interest in the industry and desire to succeed can easily overcome any lack of experience coming into the field. We are a small tight knit community. We all had to start out somewhere so what better place to get your feet wet, than Rad Torque Raceway

**Description of positions: Drag Track Safety Personal**

We seek safety personnel to assist at race events during the season (May - mid October) - this entails Some weekday evenings, Fridays daytime, Friday nights, and Full weekend work.

Located at end of the track. Racetrack Safety personnel must be able to respond to emergency situations via vehicle or foot. Must be able to stand, walk, climb, push, pull and lift 50 lbs. Vehicle use is pick up truck and ATV outfitted with safety response equipment.

Must be able to work long hours in outdoor weather, Some weekday evenings, Fridays daytime, Friday nights, and Full Weekends, in a fast-paced environment. This can be a very dangerous environment, so applicants are required to be aware of their surroundings at all times. It is also crucial that applicants be great with people and have general knowledge of auto racing and may require additional knowledge for specific roles. As a safety personal other job duty’s inclued helping in track maintenance, track prep, track clean up after any delay in racing from rain to oil clean ups.

This position is a part time employment as it is mostly Friday night and weekends but note: there can be opportunity to be come full time employee, as there is always on-going projects or needs at the hole facility

**Requirements**:

- Must be 20 years or older
- Be able to work in a team environment and take direction - we work very close with Each Other and at a very fast pace.
- We provide the equipment used to prep, clean and dry the racing surface. Prior equipment experience is not necessary, although preferred. You must be comfortable and willing to learn.
- Communicate Professionally - We use radios over public ears so professionally is up most
- Good verbal communication skills are required not only internally with your teammates but also with our guests.
- **Reliable transportation - Our day starts early and could end very late. Reliable transportation, preferably yourself, is required. Because your ride cannot get you here on time or wait until the end of your shift, are not valid reasons to be late or to leave your position before the race has been completed.**:

- Stamina - hours can be long, and we do work in an outdoor environment; therefore, endurance is required. You must be prepared for all elements and conditions.
- PPE for the job position is provided but any additional clothing weather related is own responsibility

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $22.50-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
