Kennel Attendant

Clean and sanitize kennels
- Clean and sanitize general work area
- Maintain kennels with clean bedding
- Monitor animal’s physical and emotional comfort, reporting changes in behaviour
- Provide compassionate post-surgery care and attention to animals
- Accurate and timely completion of paperwork as required
- Laundry services
- Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment or pre/post surgery
- Assist RVT/DVM, as trained and instructed
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment
- Assist in receiving of inventory
- Administer food/water as instructed by RVT/DVM
- Provide strong communication and client service skills
