Auto Body Prepper

**FULL-TIME AUTO BODY PREPPER POSITION - METRO TRUCK GROUP, STONEY CREEK LOCATION.**

The Metro Truck Group is a full-service centre for all heavy truck & trailer needs. We are continuously growing & expanding, and are currently looking for an Auto Body Prepper at our Head Office & Full Service Elite Dealership residing in Stoney Creek, ON.

The Auto Body Prepper is a central role in the Collision center as they are responsible for restoring vehicles back to their original condition, preparing them for paint jobs, and performing the final touches once painting is completed.

**Main Duties Include (but are not limited to)**:

- Preparing vehicles/parts for painting
- Using proper techniques, material and tools to reach desired outcome
- Surface preparation, vehicle masking, sanding
- Polish, buff, and wet sand vehicles/parts post painting
- Maintain a clean work environment and uphold our health safety standards
- Adhere to all Metro Truck Group policies and procedures
- General housekeeping duties
- _All other duties as assigned_

**Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's license & clean Driver's Abstract
- Must be able to work well in a team environment and/or independently
- Outstanding dexterity and attention to detail
- Excellent work ethic with a willingness to learn
- Training provided as required - _previous auto body prep. experience considered strong asset._
