Mining, Oilfield and Transportation Industries.

(Accredited Senior Appraiser) designation. Strict adherence to the ASA Code of Ethics is always observed and enforced by members. The mission of ASA is to foster the public trust of its members and the appraisal profession through compliance with the highest levels of ethical and professional standards. Sterling Appraisals follows Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal
Practice (USPAP) which is the recognized standard governing professional appraisals.

We have been recognized as an expert witness for court proceedings. **Job Summary**:

- Appraiser reports to the Sr. Appraiser.
- Primary function is to conduct research on market comparables.
- Clerical, data, and administrative entry duties as required.
- Occasional travel to Client sites to view/photograph equipment.
- Assisting and proofing appraisals.
- Learning the business and building your passion.
- Learning about machinery, equipment, different kinds of values and the different methods of coming to a valuation result.
- High level communications abilities - verbal and written.

**Major Job Functions by %**:

- Site visits to view and photograph equipment - 15%
- Organize photos and describe equipment - 5%
- Liaise with clients to obtain information and documentation for equipment - 5%
- Assemble methodology folders and research comparable sales - 65%
- Peer review appraisal research and discuss methodologies - 5%
- Proofing reports for accuracy - 5%
- Time spent on each of these categories depends on level of work experience and scope.
