Pool Technician

**Hickling Pools & Spas** is a pool construction, service & retail company serving Uxbridge & the surrounding area since 1972. We are looking for full-time/part-time (year round) key individuals to join our team. **Pool & Spa Service Technician**

This is primarily an in-field position dealing with pool & spa service. The secondary aspect of the Service Technician position is store based, working with walk-in retail customers and assisting customers over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:

- Outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Maintaining van inventory & organization
- Completing work orders
- Reporting job status to both the Service Department & customers
- Working with the service coordinator to determine routes, required parts etc
- Assisting customers with water balance & all products in the store
- Cash out retail & service customers
- Handle incoming calls as needed, taking messages as necessary
- Support the other retail staff/seasonal staff
- Valid G License, with clean abstract
- Ongoing training on industry products and equipment
- Off season, November to March, there is more focus on retail work and preparation for the next season

This position requires strong customer service skills and is suited to a confident, outgoing person who enjoys multitasking in a fast paced, team environment. - Minimum 2 years_ industry experience (service technician, pool/spa retail sales, pool/spa service scheduler)

- Able to do daily physical work (walking, standing, kneeling and lifting)
- Knowledge and experience with industry specific tools & equipment

**BASED ON EXPERIENCE**

Full-time, permanent position

Hours vary seasonally:
In season - Monday-Friday 8 am-6 pm, some Saturdays

Off season - Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm, some Saturdays

Limited vacation time available during in season April through early November. Very flexible on vacation time off season November through March.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Additional pay:
