**You**:

- Technical diploma required
- One-year design experience would be considered an asset
- Strong understanding and experience with programs like Autodesk, Vendor, AutoCAD, and Intuitive
- Fluent on Microsoft Office and able to work on other programs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and effectively meet deadlines
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- LEAN manufacturing experience is preferred
- Be able to handle items weighing in excess of 50 pounds
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate production goals
- Ability to communicate effectively with others

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Working under the direction of the Head of Engineering, you will_
- Design 3D models of cargo trailers
- Create drawing packages for the production floor
- Have a holistic understanding of the product, and how changes to parts impact upstream and downstream product lines
- Put together build materials
- Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality
- Propose solutions and engineering change requests to the product management head coach
- for approval
- Make changes to technical drafts based on the recommendations of the project engineers
- Communicate running changes back to team captains and assistant coaches and oversee
- implementation of coordinated changes
- Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
- Identify problems and communicate to Head of Engineering; be involved in the solution
- Complete daily 5S requirements.
- Actively participate in STC’s safety program
- Verify work completion with Head of Engineering
- Other Ad Hoc duties as assigned by Head of Engineering

- LETHBRIDGE, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)
