**Job Position**: Security Supervisor
- Concierge, Markham

**Wincon Security is hiring for a Security Supervisor-Concierge, Markham, ON**
These positions are for energetic, friendly, outgoing people, with excellent communication skills.

We are currently hiring for the following shift:
**Monday to Friday 7:00am-3:00pm**

**Job Duties a Security Supervisor-Concierge**:

- Supervise and lead a team of 6 or more security guards.
- Ensuring security duties are carried out in compliance with all federal, provincial, and municipal laws including; The Criminal Code of Canada; Trespass to Property legislation.
- Maintain local site-specific post orders and directives by reviewing and notifying Client and Wincon of required revisions.
- Controlling all vehicles and pedestrian traffic entering the property
- Greet direct, sign in guest(s) and answer pertinent questions.
- Monitor security cameras.
- Issue and receipt of keys to trades, building staff and contractors.
- Operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios and phones.
- Ensure that the Condominium Safety and Emergency Procedures are followed in response to Fire Alarms and other Site Emergencies
- Training of new staff
- Complete daily site inspections
- Maintaining compliance and discipline of site staff
- Performance of staff evaluations on a regular basis
- Be the first and main point of contact in case of emergencies or any site related issues.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Eligibility to work full-time, legally in Canada without restrictions (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Work Permit only)
- ** A Valid Ontario Security Guard License is required.**:

- ** First Aid CPR-C required.**:

- Two (2) years of security/concierge supervisory experience in residential properties
- Past experience in managing a security team in a condominium setting.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional judgment, common sense and decision-making ability
- Thorough record keeping, report writing and observation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Must be comfortable walking, standing, patrolling.
- Excellent customer service skills: Friendly personality who enjoys interaction with people at a professional level.
- ** Must have open availability and willing to work overnights and weekends, if required.**:

- ** Possesses own vehicle is an asset.**
