Gas Jockey

**The Opportunity**

Riide Holdings Inc. has an opportunity at **Railway Gas & Convenience**, for a **Gas Jockey**. This role is primarily responsible for helping out customers by filling their gas tanks and providing excellent customer service.

Start Date**:November 2024**

Wage**:$16.50/per hour**

Shift(s)**:Evenings and weekends. Must be able to work flexible shifts and holidays**

Reports To**:Store Manager**

**The Responsibilities**

The **Gas Jockey** is responsible for:

- Fill fuel tanks of vehicles with gasoline or diesel fuel.
- Clean windshields wherever required.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and providing directions as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, such as stocking shelves or cleaning the gas station area
- Ensure safety regulations are followed, such as not smoking near fuel pumps or dispensers
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately

**The Requirements**
- High School Diploma or equivalent (an asset);
- Must be 19 years of age;
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Prior experience in retail and/or wholesale, food service, or fuel industry;
- Self-motivation, work ethic, and desire to deliver excellence in customer service; and
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own.

Position requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, stooping, kneeling and/or climbing.
