Norwood Sawmills, a leading manufacturer of portable sawmills and related forestry equipment, is seeking a Material Handler - Order Fulfillment to join our team. The Material Handler will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move materials, products, and equipment throughout the warehouse while also assisting in order fulfillment tasks.

**Responsibilities**:
**Forklift Operations**
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and shelves using the forklift.
- Inspect and maintain the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices to prevent accidents and injuries.

**Order Fulfillment**
- Pick and pack products according to order specifications, ensuring items are correctly labeled and packaged.
- Efficiently package Customer and Dealer orders to protect them from damage during transportation.
- Organize and stage completed orders for shipping or delivery, maintaining order and cleanliness in the staging area.
- Look for new ways to improve efficiency, packaging quality, inspections/quality-control, preservation of part quality and improve safety, and communicate to superiors your suggestions.
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as shipping labels, packing slips, and order documentation.
- Interact fellow Norwood team members, customers, and suppliers in a positive, constructive, courteous, timely and professional manner.
- Perform such other duties that may be assigned as required.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Valid Reach Truck certification, an assist.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and order fulfillment processes.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking, packing, and documentation.
- Basic computer skills to navigate warehouse management systems and related software.
