**JobTitle: Material Planner Specialist**

**ASnapshot of Your Day**

As a Material Planner Specialist, you will bepart of the Scheduling and Planning department, accountable to optimizematerial flow and requirements on the manufacturing shop floor such as,identifying material bottlenecks, anticipating material demands, creatingforecast, managing suppliers (Purchase Orders) and addressing actions tominimize material availability issues.

**HowYou’ll Make an Impact**
- Analyze material requirements for production, manage material inventoriesto ensure material and resources are consistent with productionschedules/demand
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for materials delivery, includingsafety stock and supply strategy
- Analyze statistical data, manage/reduce inventory levels, shippingtimelines and general forecast to create anticipated demand
- Work with procurement in development of supplier by understanding thereal time material demands and support warehouse capacity management withlogistics
- Review all completed production orders, to ensure all material wereproperly backflushed and confirmed
- Maintaining and improving inventory accuracy by root cause analysis ofthe inventory variance
- Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affectproduction and implement correct actions to avoid further shortages

**What You Bring***
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in Supply Chain management,scheduling, and planning activities with lean manufacturing mindset
- SAP Knowledge. Experience working with the Office suite proficiency inExcel
- Working knowledge of purchasing fundamentals, MRP, scheduling, andplanning
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving. Able to work undertight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with multiple objectives
- Advanced/previous production planning experience and deeper SAP knowledge
- Leadership skills and overall supply chain experience (procurement orproduction scheduler experience)
