National Fire Equipment Ltd. is an integrated supplier of fire sprinkler systems selling products to installing contractors in the new construction building and retrofit markets. **Job type**: Entry level, Full-time permanent position

**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

**Responsibilities**:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Reporting to the Senior Estimator, this position will be responsible to quote and estimate projects based on drawing and specifications provided by customers, and coordinate projects based on customer schedules.
- Receiving & picking drawings
- Quoting, and listing drawings
- Creating material take off for shipping purposes
- Entering materials in the Navision system for estimates and quoting purposes
- Preparing site copies for the installations
- Preparing Stock listing projects "Fab sheets" on pipe editor software
- Making project adjustments
- Attending to customer phone calls related to project quoting and estimating
- Providing feedback to customers in relation to the status of each project
- Participating in training and meetings as required
- Coordination of shipping. Receiving and ensuring that cut sheet and product information is sent along with fabrication product

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical Engineering background is required
- Capable of reading & interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proficient in Auto CAD MS excel, Planswift is an asset
- B2B commercial experience is preferred
- Knowledge on fire protection equipment & materials (Sprinkler Industry) is an asset
