We at Richview Manor pride ourselves on providing our guests with an enriched menu, balance diet and positive experience. Being a part of our team, you will broaden your skill set in large production fine dining and banquet service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Function:
The primary function of this position is ensuring that resident meal service is performed in a pleasant and efficient manner, in compliance with public health and other governmental agencies. As well, after meal service periods assists with ware washing operations and other assigned cleaning responsibilities. This is a physically challenging position requiring that the successful incumbent stand/walk for long periods of time.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Successful enrolment and/or completion of the Food Service Worker Program
- Current and completed Food Handler Certificate
- Ability to lift minimum of 20lb
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English (other language an asset)
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes and production sheets
- Ability to read and follow therapeutic diet sheets
- Solid understanding of portion control
- Knowledge of H.A.C.C.P
- Comprehensive knowledge and practice of Health and Safety requirements
- Previous Food Service experience in Retirement or Senior Living settings will be an asset
- Smart Serve Certificate is also required
- Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Screening (within last 6 months) required
- Verification of Tuberculosis Test required

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $16.22-$17.35 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
