**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychotherapist or a social worker to join Emergence Psychotherapy to work with Iranian and Afghan refugees seeking Psychotherapy services. As a Psychotherapist, you will provide counseling and therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. Your role will involve assessing clients' mental health needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions to promote emotional well-being. The role will be part-time. Hours are flexible and the sessions will be virtual and/or through the phone. This position is fully remote and you can work from the comfort of your own home.

**Duties**:

- Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns and determine appropriate treatment approaches
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' goals and needs
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques
- Assist clients in developing coping skills and strategies to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Stay updated on the latest research and developments in the field of psychotherapy

**Requirements**:

- Interest and knowledge in working with refugees
- Farsi is required
- Master's degree or recognized equivalent in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Registered and in good standing with CRPO or as a social worker
- Professional liability insurance

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $65.00 per hour
