We are currently seeking Carpenters and Apprentice Carpenters for a full-time permanent position to join our team.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Demonstrate the proper safety procedures as set out in the OH&S and company safety manuals
- Layout, install, or remove temporary structures and fixtures, including scaffolding, ladders, railings, and rigging installation
- Cutting and fastening materials as required, doing the layout including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, and measuring marking materials to avoid costly mistakes
- Working with various tools and materials, lifting, pulling, or pushing, carrying and manipulating objects up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and supervisors
- Must be able to work in a multi-trade environment
- Must have a commitment to safe work practices and be able to adhere to safety policies

**Qualifications**:

- Licensed Alberta Journey person, Red Seal Certificate (An Asset) or a registered apprentice with a blue book
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience with the above duties
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and Vehicle
- Self-motivated, reliable, flexible and proactive with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Able to organize assigned tasks for completion alone or with help
- Strong work ethic, willingness to take initiative
- Must be able to work independently and with a team
- Must display a positive attitude and emotional intelligence
- Leadership skills to supervise labourers
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities
- Must be willing to work out of town if/when required
- May be required to complete a criminal record check to work on site
