Job Overview:
**Duties**:
- Conduct routine dental examinations and provide appropriate treatments
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care practices
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other staff members to ensure efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Dentrix or Abeldent
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Active provincial dental license in good standing
- Strong knowledge and experience in general dentistry
- Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry
- Experience with Invisalign beneficial
- Familiarity with dental office procedures and protocols
- Proficiency in using CAD/CAM technology for restorations is desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
Must be available to be on call over the weekend if need be.
Must have excellent communication skills.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $100.00-$15,000.00 per month
