Cottage Grounds Crew Worker

We are looking for enthusiastic, hard working individuals to join our Grounds Crew for the 2023 Spring/Summer/Fall season. If you enjoy working outside in all conditions, engage well as part of a team, enjoy being active and live or cottage in Honey Harbour or surrounding areas, we would like to hear from you.

We are located in Honey Harbour.

Employment starts April 17 or 24 (Weather depending) - Sept 4

Some positions available through Nov 1.

Hours:
Monday - Friday

8am-4 or 5 (Weekends Off)

Part Time hours are available

Successful applicant will work as part of a team servicing ISLAND ACCESS cottage properties with duties such as:

- Weekly Lawn Maint and Property Preparation.
- Barging (Delivery of lumber, home improvement supplies, firewood, recreational vehicles etc)
- Spring/Fall clean up's
- Light landscaping

Being part of the grounds crew can be physically demanding at times but offers you the chance to challenge yourself and work with an amazing group of individuals on the water.

Knowledge to navigate the Honey Harbour waterways is an asset but not a requierment.

- Punctuality
- Detail oriented customer service and ability to work efficiently are key tools in this role.
- Organizational mindset
- Time management skills are an asset
- Knowledge of boats
- Energetic and outgoing
- Basic understanding of landscape equipment and knowledge to problem solve are a great asset.

Training will be provided. Both in form of written and on the job training.
