**JOB SUMMARY**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create work orders with accurate information.
- Receive, analyze, and process booking information from the client, ensuring the identification and confirmation of appropriate routes, verification of service requirements, and entering the information into the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Maintain regular contact with the client throughout the order duration, providing updates on both positive and negative occurrences.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordination.
- Optimize the company's profit margin while ensuring service quality remains uncompromised.
- Resolve issues as they arise, collaborating with the Branch Manager, Sales, and/or Administration to find effective solutions.
- Effectively communicate and negotiate any additional charges with clients, while ensuring accuracy of client information.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of client needs and align the company's services to effectively meet those needs.
- Track and trace planned loads to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
- Process orders to assigned carriers efficiently.
- Assist in pricing based on customer knowledge and meet established deadlines.
- Proactively solicit freight from existing customers to drive business growth.
- Perform other duties as required by business needs or as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- High School diploma. Post-Secondary Degree preferable.
- Diploma in Logistics or International Trade is an asset and/or industry accreditation such as CITT, CCLP, CIFFA, P.LOG.
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a 3PL dispatch environment.
- Strong knowledge of North American geography.
- Working knowledge of all North American surface transportation services, including LTL, TL, and Intermodal.
- Complete understanding and use of all aspects of highway and intermodal transportation.
