Master Halco, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fencing and perimeter security products is seeking an **Extrusion Operator (Wire)** for the day shift. The **Extrusion Operator** operates complex wire coating/extruding machines including threading wire, loading with PVC and dye, and controlling speed, temperature, and finish gauge.

This position will work under limited supervision after training to operate complex equipment in the continuous manufacturing process of producing woven chain link fence. Associate will also be responsible for the set-up and operation of machines, inspecting for quality, and troubleshooting problems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sélectionne le calibre et la finition corrects du fil pour le revêtement en utilisant les instructions verbales du superviseur.
- Charge la machine avec le support de fil et la machine à fileter avec l'extrémité du fil.
- Sélectionne le matériau de teinture correct à partir d'instructions verbales, mesure et charge dans la machine.
- Charge la machine avec des granulés de PVC.
- Sélectionne le réglage de la vitesse et de la température et démarre la machine.
- Surveille le fonctionnement de la machine et surveille les enchevêtrements et les obstructions.
- Corrige les problèmes mineurs et avise le superviseur des problèmes majeurs.
- Inspecte visuellement la qualité du fil tel qu'il provient de la machine et effectue une inspection mécanique sur la jauge de revêtement à l'aide d'un micromètre et d'autres équipements.
- Nettoie la machine entre les changements de couleur et effectue un entretien mineur périodique, y compris le graissage et les réparations et ajustements mineurs au besoin.
- Pèse et étiquette tous les fils extrudé.
- Prépare le fil pour l'expédition aux usines et aux clients.
- Maintient sa propre zone de travail et celle adjacente propres.
