Badminton Coach

Royal Wave Sport is looking for high performance professional badminton coaches for our program.

**What You Will be Doing**

To assist the Director of Badminton Program in the execution of key performance mandates and the overall mission of our new corporate badminton program.
- Actively coach private, group, and multi-days badminton camps, as required of various competitive skills level
- Must be able to seamlessly coach anyone between 5-19yrs by performing technical skill training, game training, fitness training, and strength training
- Perform all administrative duties as required for this position such as reports, billing, scheduling, coordination, planning, organizing of events, and others
- Participate in sponsored social events, as required
- This position is from Monday to Friday 5pm-9am work schedule. On weekends, our schedules are flexible
- Be part of the coaching team that will evaluate athletes for special teams consideration based on individual performance tournament results.

**What You Need to Qualify for This Position**
- 4-6 years of coaching experience in the sport of badminton at competitive level
- 4-6 years of experience developing lesson and training plans for athletes who are at the junior competitive to high performance level
- Physically must be able to play full court single / double games with competitive athletes in 2 hour duration at a time
- Have worked and coached people of ages 5-19 years old
- Good communication skills
- Owning a car will be necessary

**Salary**: ranges from $16-$35 per hour

- Surrey/White Rock, BC near V4A 4N7 reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: $16.93-$38.00 per hour
