Sandwich Artist/cashier

Overview:
Join our team as a Sandwich Maker where you will play a key role in creating delicious sandwiches for our customers. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for food service.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer preferences and company recipes
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sandwich preparation
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, toasters, and grills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently
- Upsell additional items to enhance the customer experience

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Proficiency in basic kitchen tasks such as food preparation and assembly
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $15.75-$16.80 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
