Virtual Ed Project Manager

We currently have a **Temporary Part-time (0.5 FTE, until approx. June 2024)** opportunity for a** Virtual ED Project Manager** **in the **Virtual ED **at our **Bayview** campus.

**Hours of Work**:
Weekday: Days, Evenings; 8 hrs; (With some flexibility required)

**Summary of Duties**:
The Project Manager will join the Virtual ED team and report to the Virtual ED Physician Lead. They will facilitate the ongoing development and expansion of Toronto’s Virtual ED - a partnership between Sunnybrook and the University Health Network (UHN). They will help optimize the service model to provide an effective, efficient, and sustainable approach that best meets the needs of patients and families requiring virtual urgent care and that strives to ensure continuity of care throughout the region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Regional and Community Integration_
- Manage and develop Third Party Administrator (TPA) deliverables (including lessons learned, surveys, presentations, monthly reporting metrics and billing submissions, sustainability plans, etc.)
- Keep up-to-date with OH funding opportunities and manage proposal development
- Meet regularly with Ontario Health, OHTs, Health811, and regional partners
- Establish and expand referral pathways with OHT partners
- Vendor Management_
- Maintain relationship as main point-of-contact with vendors
- Manage, escalate and report technical issues (front-end and back-end) with vendor
- Manage regional front door booking and scheduling system
- Engage with vendor on enhancements and identify opportunities for improvements/ integrations with hospital systems
- Quality Assurance/Research/Innovation_
- Identify opportunities for optimizing digital data collection and analysis
- Provide analytics reports for ED team; identify trends, gaps and opportunities for process improvements
- Develop and manage funding opportunities, including long term sustainability
- Marketing and Communications_
- Develop and update traditional, social, and print media promotional materials including patient testimonials in collaboration with Communications team
- Support regional and provincial marketing and communications plan
- Support dissemination of research and quality assurance findings

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or relevant field (Master’s degree an asset)
- Experience managing digital solutions, vendor management in healthcare setting
- 5 years work experience in health care or related field
- Proficiency in software and digital tools including MS Office, Power BI, project management tools, Sharepoint, Zoom, Doodle, and scheduling systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational, administrative, and leadership skills
- Close attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Experience with quality improvement, quality assurance, or research programs an asset
