**Duties and responsibilities**

Class G / CLASS 3 QUE drivers license /
**Clean drivers Abstract required** (to be submitted at time of applying)**
- Experience loading, unloading, hand bombing and transporting products
- Must be able to operate large vehicle in city traffic
- Perform trip inspections on equipment operated and loaded, ensuring safety and road worthiness
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, drivers hours, occupational health and safety
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspection to ensure mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order
- Maintain daily logs, inspection logs and other necessary paperwork
- Comply with HACCP and SQF Standards
- perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed

- Ability to read and write to record deliveries and maintain daily records

- _**Minimum 25 years of age or older**_
- _**1 year driving a 3 ton Truck in Ontario is mandatory**_
- **Start times between 6:00AM and 9:00AM Finish times vary depending on volume. Expect long days of 8 to 10 hours on a consistent basis**_
- **Open Availability - Sunday to Saturday & Statutory Holidays **_

The Driver will have to work in all weather, and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold.

**Physical requirements**

The Truck Driver has a physically strenuous and demanding job. He/she will be lifting, pulling and managing heavy objects. Drivers sit but also stand, walk, bend and stoop to unload orders. Lifting and carrying of product does not exceed 50lbs.

Expected start date: 2024-5/15

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour
