**This is a full-time, permanent, year-round position.**
- Starting hourly rate is based on experience and qualifications
- Company-paid Group Benefits available after completion of 3 months of employment
- Optional: A single weekend shift can be available in place of a day through the week
- Rotating Saturday's are required during winterizing as we offer "Express Winterizing" for outboard customers, this is only during the months of October & November.
- We're closed Monday's through the winter and have shorter shifts, so (optional) banked overtime hours can be drawn on to maintain a steady pay

**Purpose of the Role**:
Working in a fast-paced environment, our ideal Marine Mechanic is dependable, efficient and works well in a team environment. Our ideal Marine Mechanic will come to work with a complete set of tools (specialty tools provided by dealership), appropriate safety shoes and a positive attitude, ready for that day's work

In addition to having completed Ontario's Marine Engine Mechanic apprenticeship program, our ideal Marine Technician has at least 6 years experience with outboards, inboard/outboards and inboards and their associated regular maintenance (oil changes, changing impellers, etc.), rigging, installing electronics, general trailer repairs and is competent to perform the following responsibilities:

- Using our phone app, you'll notify your Service Advisor of the diagnosis, the required repairs, any parts needed as well as recommended, including any required regular maintenance items, work so the customer's boating season will be without hiccups
- Once your Service Advisor receives authorization, you'll complete the required repairs and improvements then finish the job by conducting quality checks on your work, performed before marking the job as complete for your Service Advisor
- Perform scheduled maintenance
- Complete repairs within the established flat-rate times, communicating with your Service Advisor if something has come up requiring additional time
- Keep up to date on latest technical service bulletins, etc. by attending paid manufacturing training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 52.5 per week
