Immigration Paralegal

We are currently seeking a Immigration Paralegal to support our Halifax Office.
Summary of responsibilities
Review, organize and analyze documents;
Request and compile information and documentation from clients in a timely manner;
Maintain ongoing communication and provide status updates to clients;
Keep up-to-date with changes in immigration law, regulation and policy;
Utilize computer technology in an efficient and productive manner;
Perform general office and clerical duties, including billable and non-billable functions;
Other duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
Successful completion of paralegal diploma or equivalent, and 3+ years' experience as an immigration paralegal;
Strong competency in the usage of MS Office (particularly Word, and Excel), paired with superior typing and dicta-transcription skills, and excellent attention to detail;
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines;
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service;
Self-starter with the ability to work independently, follow instructions with mínimal supervision and take initiative;
The willingness to learn and contribute to the team
