Cook/cashier

Monday-Friday, working hours 6:30am-3pm, with two 15-minute breaks.

**Required Qualifications**:
**1-2 years of kitchen experience in the fast food or restaurant industry.**

An organized individual, with the ability to take direction will manage all aspects of the daily operations of the kitchen, clean and help at cash register in bakery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Prepares orders as they come in, this includes mostly sandwiches and fries
- Prepare items such as chicken parm, chicken pesto, meatballs and more
- Helps out in other areas of the bakery, mainly as cashier
- Prepares and bakes dessert items, assembles salads and other food items
- Always maintains a sanitary workstation environment, keeps area stocked, inspects supplies and equipment
- Sanitizes all food prep surfaces, sweeps/mops kitchen floors along with others cleaning duties
- Other duties as assigned by Company Management

Compensation:
Pay is $15.50 - $16/hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON M8Z 5G9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
