Vessel Planner

**PSA Halifax **is recruiting for a Vessel Planner.

**Vessel Planner Deliverables**:
Deliverables include the following duties, which may be altered, removed or added as the business dictates: ensuring data quality used in the planning systems is always of the highest integrity and maintained in a timely fashion, responsible for all aspects of ship planning, rail planning, yard planning & crane / equipment assignment etc. in close liaison with Operations team, ensuring that safety is prioritized and accounted for in all planning activities, key contributor to plans that can maintain and improve operational efficiencies & cost in the terminal and daily planning activities contribute to the achievement of operational results, liaise with cargo control and shift managers to plan and prioritize move requests from shipping lines, Transport Canada, customs, reefer technicians

**Qualifications**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:

- 2+ years practical experience working in terminal environment or logistics preferred
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) required
- TOS Tideworks is an asset
- Excellent problem-solving and planning skills
- Able to remain calm under pressure
- Team-oriented and collaborative
- Time management
- Flexibility and adaptability
- High attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Able to follow processes and procedures
