**About Walkers Point Marina**: Walkers Point Marina is a leading waterfront destination offering a range of services including boat sales and rentals, storage, maintenance, and more. Situated between Gravenhurst and Bala on Lake Muskoka, our marina is renowned for its commitment to excellence in customer service.

We are currently seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Boat Cleaner to join our team at Walkers Point Marina. The Boat Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our fleet of boats, customer boats, and facilities ensuring they are in pristine condition for our customers to enjoy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean and wash boats thoroughly, both interior and exterior, using appropriate cleaning agents, tools, and techniques.
- Remove dirt, stains, and debris from boat surfaces, including hulls, decks, windows, and interiors.
- Polish and wax boat exteriors to restore shine and protect against environmental damage.
- Vacuum and sanitize boat interiors, including cabins, seating areas, and bathrooms.
- Inspect boats for any damages or maintenance issues and report findings to the supervisor.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, such as replacing light bulbs or tightening fittings.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate boat cleaning schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting boat owners as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in boat cleaning an asset but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products suitable for boats an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning methods and technologies.
- Basic knowledge of boat maintenance and repair tasks is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
