ABB Smart Buildings digitally transforms commercial, industrial and residential buildings for the highest comfort, efficiency, safety and security - enhancing quality of life in buildings of the future through safe, smart and sustainable electrification solutions, services and products. The Ergonomics Intern will provide ergonomic support to the emergency lighting plant in Dorval.

**Your responsibilities**:

- With the help of the Health, Safety and Environment team in place, your mandate will be to support the plant in its ergonomics program.
- Maintain and improve an intervention program to prevent musculoskeletal disorders, including risk analysis.
- Define the intervention process according to the company's requests and the stakeholders while respecting the allocated budget.
- Conduct a diagnosis of the situation and define an action plan and target health and safety improvement projects.
- Ensure the maintenance of a control and management plan for corrective actions to eliminate and reduce risks at the source.
- Use a healthy and humane approach with all personnel.
- Act as an agent of change by demonstrating the advantages and benefits of ergonomics in the workplace and mobilize people through various communications and activities.

**Your background**:

- Completed first year of the master’s program in ergonomics.
- Advanced analytical and observational skills.
- Rigorous, concise, organizational skills, team player.
- Good communicator, good people skills, and ability to mobilize.
- Curious, creative, and innovative.
- Bilingual; French and English, oral and written.
