**Courtenay Recreation is looking for fun and energetic experienced individuals who enjoy working with children, youth and adults to join our Sports Instructor and Facilitator Team**

We are hiring for 0-20 hours per week. Wages range from $17.00-$30.00/hour + 4% in lieu. You will also qualify for our generous employee wellness program and a variety of professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications**:
**Education Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade 10 or equivalent
- First Aid Level 1 & CPR C & AED
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check
- Physical Literacy certificate/training or experience

**Complimentary Qualifications**:

- NCCP Certifications
- High Five Certificate
- Certificates or degree in in recreation, education, and/or sport

**Experience**:

- Experience instructing and/or assisting in the instruction of sports programs in a competitive and/or recreation environment
- Applicants must have previous experience working with various age groups: Children, Youth and/or Adults
- Applicants must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with program participants, volunteers, staff and the public
