Graveyard Security Guard

FULL-TIME graveyard security guard roles. This position is not suitable for a student.
- Must be available for evening and overnight work
- Location: Burnaby
- Schedule - Night 11:00PM-7:00AM
- Saturday - Wednesday

**Duties**:

- Maintain the security and safety of the premises by conducting proactive security patrols
- Provide superior customer service to residents
- Maintain a strong sense security presence in common areas, tower, parking areas, hallways, stairwells, surrounding walkways of the buildings and premises
- Conduct hourly patrols and actively monitor cameras
- Respond to emergency situations (security, medical, flood or fire) and facility emergencies (floods, elevator break downs, gate break downs). Write incident reports.
- Document and report as required daily reports, incident reports, for management and client follow up
- Proactively diffuse, respond and resolve difficult situations

Job Qualifications:

- Valid BST (British Columbia) Security License
- Minimum 1 year Security experience
- Excellent customer service skills, friendly
- Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills
- Physically fit and mentally alert

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Every Weekend
- Night shift

**Experience**:

- Residential Building Security: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- BST Security License (required)
